McCrumb pine pellets are manufactured from 100% pine shavings for the purpose of animal bedding. Our pellets do not contain any toxins, hardwoods or unwanted bedding materials.

The Difference

“I tried pellets and didn’t like them” is something we’ve heard from many horse owners. Our pellets are different from other brands in two important ways:

1) Made from 100% Pine
    - More absorbent = lasts longer
    - Whiter, cleaner bedding = more attractive

2) Packaged in 40 lb. bags
    - Many other brands are packaged in only a 30 lb. bag, making the cost per pound more

We are horse owners ourselves and are using these pellets to bed our own horses. We have found the best way to use the product is to add 5 bags to a totally stripped 12 x 12 stall, spray the pellets with water and fluff with a manure fork until about half of the pellets have expanded into fine sawdust. The remaining pellets will expand with use.
